Rising Stars Academy Rising Stars Academy Center Line, MI Center Line, MI Full-time Full-time $16 - $18 an hour $16 - $18 an hour 21 hours ago 21 hours ago 21 hours ago Duties - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and teas - Take customer orders and process payments using cash handling procedures - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking their orders, and ensuring their satisfaction - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed - Follow recipes and guidelines for beverage preparation to ensure consistency and quality - Assist with food preparation and handling as needed - Upsell additional products or menu items to customers - Operate coffee brewing equipment and other machinery safely and efficiently - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines Qualifications - Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required - Strong cash handling skills with the ability to accurately handle transactions - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor - Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and familiarity with different types of coffee beans - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change for customers - Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers - Understanding of food safety regulations and willingness to follow proper procedures Job Type:
