Product Engineer - Intermediate
EDUCATION:
BSME, BSEE or Engineering degree with extensive automotive chassis experience and 3-5 years of experience
BASIC SKILLS:
Prefer a candidate with a background in one or more of the following commodities: Chassis, Suspension, Control Arms, Shocks, Struts, Ball Joints, Sway bar & links, Tie rods

years of experience, with some level of practical experience are preferred
Experience in Automotive Product Release
Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings (GD&T Knowledge preferred)
Knowledgeable in Team center & NX
CATIA Knowledge a plus
Understanding of PPAP/APQP metrics
Microsoft Office proficiency
Outstanding leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent critical thinking and good communication
Must be self-motivated, results driven, and able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and developing a product/product family
Ensures production procedures efficiently utilize materials and personnel
Tests finished product for quality purposes and recommends changes to product specifications as necessary
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
