Mopar Inventory Analyst

The Mopar Inventory Analyst will be responsible for administering the Past Model Seating Program, managing Corporate the E&O Program, and coordinating PentaSAP requisitions for multiple departments within the Mopar Supply Chain. In addition to these activities, the analyst completes multiple inventory related projects and ad hoc analytics. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Past Model Seating Program -Work directly with Mopar's third party distributor and Tier 1 seat / soft trim suppliers to manage past model seating inventory. Utilize and enhance inventory forecasting models and tools to establish appropriate build out buy quantities when seating components go out of production and replenishment buys to cover the service retention period. Manage the disposition of inactive material. Candidate will need to understand Corporate Excess and Obsolete Material Program - Review FCA manufacturing and assembly plant E&O reports to determine if the material can be utilized by Mopar. Manage and monitor the transition of the material from the plant, through appropriate packager and/or consigned location and into the Mopar parts distribution network. SAP - Input and monitor requisition activities for both direct and indirect buys. This includes material purchase orders, external storage, supplemental staffing, and other requests as needed. Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly and annual inventory performance reports, develop current Reporting System to Streamline / Eliminate Non-value added tasks in relation to area of responsibility, analyze trends for material movements over time -- including receipts, issues, consumptions and scrap to determine areas of inaccuracy and proper stock levels, process Inventory transactions as required to ensure inventory accuracy, maintain strong knowledge and keep up to date on strategic and operational plans that impact global inventory, contribute to plant World Class Logistic vision, goals and projects.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
Previous Supply Chain Experience in a distribution based environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Strong Analytical and mathematical skills required
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. High level ability in Excel and Access.
Self-motivated with excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
Demand planning and forecasting experience required
Preferred
Qualifications:
APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification preferred
Proficiency in Easytrieve, Cognos, and SAP
