Department: Sales



Job Title: Commercial Coordinator / Sales



Hierarchically reports to: General Manager


Functionally reports to: Regional Corporate Sales Officer



POSITION OVERVIEW: Maintain and expand relationships with customers. Achieve sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. Represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers? needs and expectations are met by the company.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



? Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts


? Play integral role in attaining new business and hold responsibility for effective on-boarding of new customers


? Work within the commercial strategies defined in the business plan and coordinate with regional sales


? Support the General Manager and Sales to ensure the accomplishment of sales budget


? Ensure business growth quarter by quarter


? Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones


? Focus on growing and developing existing customers, together with generating new business


? Develop business plans for all current and opportunity business


? Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of cost reduction ideas ensuring sales objective activities


? Regularly monitor Gross Margin objectives and results are met in all products and tools


? Ensure understanding of customer needs and be the preferred key contact through frequent communication and on-site visits


? Effectively inform customers of company new developments, capabilities and competitive advantages


? Review and approve all new or modified customer contracts to ensure that the terms and conditions meet the agreed terms and that risks are mitigated


? Guarantee that all impacts deriving from all aspects of contracts, including financial, are clear and accepted by the company


? Review and maintain all customer contracts to ensure resolve of all contractual and commercial issues in close coordination with regional sales.


? Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an on-going basis


? Perform other duties as required from time to time by your Manager. ?



EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:



? Degree in Mechanical engineering, marketing, management or similar


? MBA or advanced degree in one of the above areas is a plus


? Minimum 5 years' experience working in the Automotive Industry


? Minimum 3 year's experience working in the Commercial area


? Previous experience working in manufacturing, engineering, project management or cost estimation


? Communicate effectively, customer orientated, networking and technical orientation


? Knowledge of product, processes and technologies


? Costing, pricing, risk assessment, mitigation and containment, negotiation techniques


? Highly self-motivated


? Strong account management and relationship building skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
